At about 8:41 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding for a report of a crash in teh 18400 block of Highway 142 in Paris.
Per dispatch: A pickup truck has struck a utility pole. Pole may be down on the highway.
UPDATE 8:43 p.m. — Dispatch reports a caller says truck may have rolled, but is now upright. Fire command requests response from utility company.
UPDATE 8:48 p.m. — Deputies positioning to block of eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 142.
UPDATE 8:51 p.m. — Fire unit on the scene reports pole down and snapped, with wires on the road and a transformer dangling.
