Units responding to fire in Trevor

At about 3:15 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire and Rescue are responding to a report of smoke and fire at a residence in the 11300 block of 269th Avenue in Trevor.

Per dispatch: Caller reports hearing explosions.

UPDATE 3:17 p.m. — Fire unit on scene reports flames showing from structure.

UPDATE 3:21 p.m. — Fire command requesting response from gas and electric utility crews.

UPDATE 3:35 p.m. — MABAS box alarm activated for change of quarters only to staff Salem Lakes Station No. 1. Due to respond are Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue with an engine, Newport Fire Department with a tender and Bristol Fire and Rescue with a chief.

UPDATE 3:48 p.m. — Twin Lakes Rescue dispatched to respond to staff Station No. 1 with an ambulance.

UPDATE about 4:18 p.m. — Fire command releases change of quarters units at Station No. 1.
