Early results show incumbent Republican state Rep. Samantha Kerkman leading her Democratic challenger Gina Walkington in the race to represent the 61st Assembly District.
At 8:37 p.m. with 19 of 2 polls reporting, results were: Kerkman 9,426 (60%) to Walkington 6,358 (40%).
UPDATE 8:49 p.m. — With 20 of 24 polls reporting: Kerkman 11,064 (61%) to Walkington 7,186 (39%).
UPDATE 9:21 p.m. — With 23 of 24 polls reporting: Kerkman 14,534 (61%) to Walkington 9,109 (38%).
UPDATE 10:08 p.m. — With 24 of 24 polls reporting what may be incomplete results: Kerkman 16,603 (62%) to Walkington 10,207 (38%).
