Bristol School Board seeking applicants for another board vacancy

The Bristol School Board finds itself with a vacancy for the second time in about a month.

Kim Rickert resigned from the Bristol School Board effective Oct. 26, 2018, said a statement distributed by board President Kathy LeFebve.

According to the statement, Rickert stated, “I truly appreciate the support I have received from our incredible staff and Bristol families.”

Said LeFebve: “The board and administration would like to thank Kim for her service to our school since being elected to the board.”

The school board will be seeking qualified candidates to fill Rickert’s vacated board seat. If you would like to apply for the board seat, please submit your notice of interest in writing to Kathy LeFebve, board president, by Nov. 9, 2018, at lefebve.kat@bristol.k12.wi.us. You may also forward any questions you may have to Kathy LeFebve. Tentative interviews are scheduled for Nov. 14, 2018.

In September, LeFebve announced the resignation of Amy George. Justin Miller was selected from a field of eight candidates to fill that seat.
