At about 2:30 a.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies responded for a crash in the 25600 block of 121st Street in Rock Lake.
A single car went off the road. Two people had to be freed from the vehicle by firefighters.
Flight for Life medical transport helicopter was called to respond but was not flying, likely due to weather.
The Sheriff’s Department was investigating the crash.
