Wilmot Union High School officials and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a threat toward the school detected Tuesday afternoon, the school announced via social media.
Officials are still planning to hold classes Wednesday, the announcement, issued at about 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, said. Here is the full text:
Central High School in Paddock Lake cancelled classes Oct. 19 after a threat against “CHS” was spread on social media Oct. 18. The Sheriff’s Department and school officials determined the threat was not legitimate and not even related to the school. The school opened for classes on Oct. 19, but sent students home when attendance was very low.
