2018 Salem Lakes Pumpkindaze coverage (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

In spite of the blowing wind, and the occasional snowing flurries, there was a good turnout for Salem Lakes 2018 Pumpkindaze on Saturday at the Highway Department/Fire Station No. 1 facility in Trevor.

There were many indoor activities including face painting, balloon animals, painting little pumpkins, coloring, or decorating cookies. There were several food vendors with a variety of selections. An assortment of crafts were for sale.

If you wanted to brave the wind, there was a bouncy slide, a fire engine and rescue squad from Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue, and the Sheriff’s Department command vehicle. Members of KCSD HDS also blew up a pumpkin.
