The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Kenosha County.
Widespread frost is expected Thursday night, with the advisory in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m., Friday.
It won’t just be cold one night. A trend of much cooler temperatures will begin Thursday and run through next Wednesday, says the NWS latest, local forecast. Highs will be in the mid to high 40s for the most part, maybe reaching 50 on Saturday and Tuesday. The only chances for precipitation in that stretch are a 20 percent chance of showers Friday and a 30 percent chance of showers Sunday night.
Thursday will continue to be breezy, with wind of 15 to 20 mph and gusts to 35 mph.
