The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Kenosha County.

Widespread frost is expected Thursday night, with the advisory in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m., Friday.

It won’t just be cold one night. A trend of much cooler temperatures will begin Thursday and run through next Wednesday, says the NWS latest, local forecast.¬†Highs will be in the mid to high 40s for the most part, maybe reaching 50 on Saturday and Tuesday. The only chances for precipitation in that stretch are a 20 percent chance of showers Friday and a 30 percent chance of showers Sunday night.

Thursday will continue to be breezy, with wind of 15 to 20 mph and gusts to 35 mph.
