Wilmot UHS inducts 5 into Hall of Fame

Wilmot Union High School inducted five alumni into the Wilmot Union High School Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 7.

An award reception and induction were held Friday evening prior to the football game, where the inductees were also recognized on the field before kickoff.
The 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees are:

  • Norris “Jack” Berry, Class of 1945.
  • Thomas Chlebos, Class of 1966.
  • Rachelle Poteracki, Class of 1987.
  • Luke Reigel, Class of 1991.
  • John Van Slochteren, Class of 1936.

In order to be eligible for this honor, candidates must have graduated from Wilmot Union High School in 2008 or earlier. Candidates meeting this sole criterion are then judged based upon the following:

  • Leadership
  • Achievements
  • Service to his/her community
  • Service to his/her country or Killed in Action
