Wet Wednesday, then cooler temps

Wednesday should be another wet day, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.

After that, temperatures should be a bit cooler for a stretch, with highs in the high 60s to low 70s.

Wednesday’s rain is most likely to come this afternoon, with the greatest chance between 4 and 6 p.m. and then again between 9 and 10 p.m.

Wednesday’s high temperature should reach 82, but that will be the warmest we will see for a while. Highs Thursday and Friday are expected to be 70 and 69 on Saturday and Sunday. Dewpoint also will begin to drop Wednesday evening from the low 70s, where they have been for a week, into the 60s and even high 50s, meaning the air will feel less sticky.

A slight warm up is forecast to begin Monday, with a high of 74 and a high of 77 for Tuesday.
