Chance of rain throughout Labor Day weekend

A chance of rain and thunderstorms runs through the entire Labor Day weekend National Weather Service forecast.

The greatest chance of rain and a thunderstorm is Saturday, at 80 percent. Rain is most likely in the morning and then again in the evening.

Sunday is the least likely day to see rain, just 30 percent, but that increases to 60 percent Sunday night.

On Labor Day, there’s a 60 percent chance of a thunderstorm, most likely before 1 p.m.

High temperatures through the long weekend should be in the low to mid 80s, with lows in the high 60s. Dewpoints are expected to be on the high side, with a range of 68 to 73 degrees.
