Tuesday should be another hot day, finished off with some storm weather, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.
Actually Tuesday is starting out with a little rain, but that is expected to clear for most of the day. High temperatures are expected to reach 87 with a high dewpoint and other conditions pushing the heat index as high as 95.
This evening, rain is expected to return. The NWS says there is a 90 percent chance of severe thunderstorms, most likely between 7 and 11 p.m. One to two inches of rain possible.
Wednesday will start a cool spell, with high temperatures of 72 for Wednesday and 70 for Thursday, before starting to climb for the weekend.
