After a hot Sunday, Western Kenosha County residents are in for a couple more hot days, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.
Monday’s high temperature should reach 90 with a heat index of 98. Tuesday’s high should be 87 with a heat index of 95. Dewpoint values will be in the mid to low 70s throughout Monday and Tuesday.
Tuesday night also has an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms, with as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain possible.
It will cool off — a lot — Wednesday and Thursday. High temperatures should be in the low 70s, about 20 degrees less than Monday and Tuesday.
