Some residents of the northwestern area of Western Kenosha County are experiencing a power outage this morning.
The outage started a little after 9:30 a.m. At WOTI headquarters in Paddock Lake there were a few brief off and one then before the sustained outage.
We Energies says the cause is so far undetermined. Some 477 customers are affected. Restoration time is estimated at 11 a.m.
UPDATE 11:03 a.m. — We Energies says restoration time ow under assessment. No cause being given yet. Work crews are on the scene.
UPDATE 11:29 a.m. — We Energies now estimating restoration time of 1 p.m. Cause being attributed to third party damage.
UPDATE 11:31 a.m. — Power restored. We Energies says outage caused by tree trimming.
