After a series of readings conducted Friday, all but one lake in Salem Lakes remain under slow, no wake status.
The one exception is Silver Lake, which will continue with regular boating operations.
From an announcement posted Friday on the village website:
All Lakes with the exception of Silver Lake will remain SLOW NO WAKE until SATURDAY JUNE 30th. Today’s readings indicate that all lakes except for Silver Lake are still above slow no wake levels. Readings will be taken on Sunday morning before 10:00 a.m. to determine the status of all the lakes. An update will be posted on Sunday following the readings.
