Jon Watson is the new director of pupil services at Wilmot Union High School, the school announced through a news release this week.

Wilmot Union High School is pleased to announce Jon Watson as their new Director of Pupil Services effective July 1, 2018. Mr. Watson will replace Jamie Kupkovits, who will remain the Director of Pupil Services for Randall, Lakewood, and Riverview schools. Mr. Watson has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Edgewood College. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Parkside University. This will be Mr. Watson’s fifth year at Wilmot Union High School. Jon has played an active role at Wilmot over the years. He has coached football, wrestling, and track. Mr. Watson student taught at Wilmot and was a long-term substitute before becoming a full-time special education teacher. Most recently, he has been the Special Education Program Support Teacher for Wilmot. When asked about Wilmot, Watson stated, “I am grateful for the opportunities that Wilmot has offered me for growth in education and leadership. This is something that is not only offered to staff but to every student who walks in the doors of Wilmot. I look forward to working with everyone to give our students the best experience possible.”
