Units responding for alarm in Wheatland

At about 9:22 a.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units, the Wheatland constable and sheriff’s deputies are responding for an alarm in the 39800 block of 60th Street in Wheatland.

Per dispatch: This is a residential fire alarm.

UPDATE — Wheatland Fire reports smoke coming from the building. Randall Fire and Twin Lakes fire are also responding for mutual aid.

Update – 9:45 a.m. – Wheatland fire has activated a box alarm. WE Energies has been called to turn off power.

Update – 10:03 a.m. – Road is closed at 396th and 60th St.
