
The Fox River’s most recent rise just missed getting to flood stage as measured at the New Munster gauge and is continuing to fall.
The flood warning has expired.
The river reached its highest point of 10.74 feet Tuesday morning. Flood stage is 11 feet.
At 5 p.m. Wednesday, the river was at 10.35 feet.
The river is forecast to continue to drop, with no chance for rain about 30 percent (Friday night) in the latest, local National Weather Service forecast for the next seven days.
