Teams were made up of five students from each grade — sixth through eighth. Students were nominated by teachers to compete within their designated area of expertise — math, science, language arts, or social studies.

Students participated in an individual test of subject knowledge, a current events team competition, and a team “rollercoaster” challenge.

The following students represented Wheatland in the Academic Bowl: 6th Grade – Jaini Beck, Jack Brenton, Ian Kerkman, Chloe Lois, and Zoey Prevett. 7th Grade Team – Alex Bush, Levi High, Breanna Moe, Katey Seidl, and Kianna Weis. 8th Grade – Jessica Dorobek, Ethan Mahaffee, CJ Shane, James Tsakonas, and Valerie Zuehls.

Jack Brenton placed second overall in 6th grade Math and Ian Kerkman placed third overall in 6th Grade Math.
