The Fox River has slipped below flood stage of 11 feet as measured at the New Munster gauge.
The river was measured at 11.88 feet at 4 a.m., Friday.
A flood warning remains in effect.
The current forecast for the river has it slipping below flood stage Sunday morning.
There is a 60 percent chance of rain Friday night, with a tenth to a quarter inch possible.
