UPDATE: Illinois woman dies in Wilmot crash

A woman from Illinois died in a crash Saturday in Wilmot.

The woman’s identity was released by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department on Monday as Lisa Fagan, 47.

From a news release from the Sheriff’s Department:

On 04-28-18 at approximately 6:32 pm, the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department along with Randall Township Fire and Rescue (Note: Silver Lake Rescue Squad also was part of the initial response according to radio transmissions. — DH) responded to a serious vehicle crash in the 12400 block of Highway W. Investigation into this crash revealed that a group of motorcyclists from Illinois were traveling southbound at above location when the lead operator of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control of his motorcycle. This motorcycle slid into another motorcycle (2010 Harley Davidson) which had an operator and a passenger. This created a domino effect and another motorcycle (1998 Kawasaki) also crashed. The passenger from the 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle suffered serious injuries. Flight for Life helicopter was contacted and landed in a nearby parking lot. The female passenger identified as 47 year old Lisa Fagan from Illinois was pronounced deceased at the scene, therefore she was not transported via Flight for Life. There were five other injuries reported in this crash ranging from minor to significant. The roadway was closed for authorities to properly investigate the scene. At this time speed appears to have contributed to this crash.
