The latest, local National Weather Service forecast for Western Kenosha County calls for highs in the 50s without a trace of snow or even much of rain for the next seven days.
Maybe it will just be a freak week of warmth, but we’ll take it.
The warm spell begins Friday with a high of 53 in the forecast. Tuesday and Thursday next week may be flirting with 60.
The only weak chance of precipitation at this point is Tuesday night and Wednesday, when there is a 20 percent chance of rain. Just plain old rain.
