Units responding to fire in Bristol

At about 3:48 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue, Paris Fire and Rescue, Salem Fire/Rescue and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue units and shierff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in the 19600 block of Jamestown Place in Bristol.

Per dispatch: Caller reported smoke coming from a dryer. Flames also reported.

UPDATE 3:50 p.m. — Dispatch says deputies on scene report fire appears to be out.

UPDATE 3:53 p.m. — Fire unit on the scene reporting heavy smoke from affected unit.

UPDATE 4:02 p.m. — Bristol FD command releases units from all other departments to clear the scene and return to quarters.
