The National Weather Service has adjusted its forecast of when the Fox River, as measured at the New Munster gauge, will slip back under flood stage of 11 feet.
The current forecast now is that the river will slip below 11 feet at about noon, Thursday. Earlier forecasts had that happening as early as Tuesday.
At 9 p.m., Monday, the river was at 11.88 feet.
