Snow update: About 1 inch overnight; more in coming days

This is turning out to be a snowy week in Western Kenosha County and the latest, local National Weather Service forecast says that trend will continue.

We measured just about 1 inch of snow at 5:30 a.m. from overnight at westofthei.com headquarters in Paddock Lake. It could continue to snow Wednesday morning, but probably won’t add greatly to the totals.

But we’re not done with snow for the week. The NWS says it will start falling again Thursday night and likely Friday and Saturday. Thursday night and Friday’s snow could be 2-6 inches.

High temperatures will be 17 Wednesday and then in the low 20s through Sunday.
