The identity of the woman who died from a crash Tuesday evening in Bristol has been released by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department.
Charlotte L. Schroeder, 75, of Bristol, was pronounced dead at a local hospital where she was transported by ambulance after the crash.
A Sheriff’s Department news release said investigation revealed Schroeder’s Honda Accord was traveling south on Highway D, and failed to stop for a posted stop sign at Highway 50. Traveling west on Highway 50 at the same time was an Acura operated by a 49-year-old male Salem Lakes resident. The Honda Accord entered the intersection and was struck by the Acura on the driver’s side.
The driver of the Acura was treated for a minor injury at a local hospital.
