Evelyn Swatkowski, who is studying biology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is among this year’s scholarship recipients from the College of Letters and Sciences.
Swatkowski won the following scholarship(s): Letters and Sciences Alumni Scholarship. College alumni and members of the Dean’s Advisory Board participate in fundraising events and provide direct philanthropic contributions to this fund to provide scholarship support to select students. The focus of these funds is typically for international study experiences or for high-achieving students who will be aided in their academic pursuits with the support of the scholarship award.
“Our scholarship winners were chosen by faculty who recognize these students’ superior academic accomplishments, commitment, and passion for learning,” said Frank Goza, interim dean. “We are deeply grateful to our scholarship donors whose financial support ensures that students can focus on their education and academic endeavors.”
