Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Association’s 2017 Trees on Parade and Holiday Shopping started Friday night.
The event will continue Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church Community Center, 701 Lake Ave., Twin Lakes..
This is the 12th year for the event, which has a theme of Candy Cane Lane this year.
The event includes: Decorated tree contest, holiday shopping with crafters and retail vendors, Gingerbread House Contest,
Kids Korner with crafts and activities for the little ones, door prize and raffle table, visits with Santa on Saturday 1 to 5 p.m. There is a charge for admission: $2 for adults, $1 for children 12 to 3, children 2 and younger free.
