WisDOT meeting on Highway 83 work set for Nov. 7

Highway 83 in Wheatland is up for some work and WisDOT is holding a meeting next week to tell people about it.

From a  news release about the meeting from WisDOT:

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a Public Involvement Meeting for the proposed resurfacing of Highway 83 (Pine Street), from Highway 50 to Highways KD/JB in Kenosha County.  Tuesday, November 7, 2017, 4-6 p.m., Wheatland Town Office, 34315 Geneva Road, New Munster. Proposed Improvements: Two-mile pavement resurfacing; traffic signal safety improvements at the intersection of WIS 83 and WIS 50.  The meeting will follow an informal, open house format with WisDOT representatives available to discuss the proposed project in detail. Brief presentations will be given at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to provide an overview of the project. Attendees may stop in at their convenience and view exhibits, meet with project staff, ask questions, and provide feedback. WisDOT encourages property and business owners, interested residents, and other stakeholders to attend the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to provide feedback, please feel free to contact Project Manager Gary Metzer, at (262) 548-5685 or at Gary.Metzer@dot.wi.gov.
