The 16th annual arts and crafts fair to benefit the performing arts at Westosha Central High School will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Dozens of booths will be set up in the high school gymnasium located at 24617 75th St. in Paddock Lake. Shoppers will find holiday gifts, warm winter fashions, creative arts, and products from popular vendors. Admission and parking are free.
“The annual craft fair is a unique event because of the help the students provide,” said choir director Rob Clark. “The students help the vendors set up and pack up and add lots of positive energy. Each year vendors mention how thankful they are for the help which keeps them coming back year after year.” Most students are working shifts at the event to earn money to offset the cost of a band and choir trip to Florida scheduled in April.
The event will also feature a bake sale, concessions, drawings, and musical performances from the band, choir, and drama programs.
Reservations are still being accepted for vendor space through Oct. 31. Contact centralmpa.crafter@gmail.com for information.
The event is hosted by the Westosha Central High School Music Parents Association. The purpose of the MPA is to promote and support the performing arts at Westosha Central High School.
