Wind advisory issued

The National Weather Service has issued a very wide ranging wind advisory that includes Western Kenosha County along with the rest of Wisconsin and parts of Minnesota, Iowa and the UP in Michigan.

The advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday. Winds of 20 to 25 mph are expected with gusts of 30-40 mph and maybe some as high as 45 mph.

Loose objects and tree limbs may be blown and high profile vehicles impacted.

Along with the rain there’s a 100 percent chance of rain, with rain tampering off after early afternoon. The high temperature will reach just 46 degrees.

Tonight’s low may reach 33 degrees, just above freezing, and we may see some snow showers early Wednesday morning, says the latest, local NWS forecast.
