Units responding for bus fires in Wilmot (PHOTOS)

At about 6:05 a.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue and Randall Fire Department units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of three buses on fire in the 28400 block of Wilmot Road (Highway C) in Wilmot.

UPDATE 6:06 a.m. — Deputy on scene reports two buses fully engulfed in flames and one is catching. This appears to be at the Dousman Transport school bus terminal.

UPDATE 6:07 a.m. — Deputy reports all three now fully engulfed in flames. Other buses have been moved away from the buses on fire.

UPDATE 6:09 a.m. — Bristol Fire and Rescue also dispatched to respond.

UPDATE 6:16 a.m. — Town of Wheatland Fire Department dispatched to respond for mutual aid with a tender (water tanker).

UPDATE 6:33 a.m. — Witness at scene reports fires appear to be out. Buses are leaving for routes.

UPDATE 6:36 a.m. — Box alarm cancelled by Salem Lakes command.

UPDATE 6:57 a.m. — Some mutual aid units beginning to return to quarters.
