Wet weekend in forecast

It will be a wet start to the weekend in Western Kenosha County, says the latest, local National Weather Service forecast.

The rain should start Friday night, around 9 p.m. and continue through the very early morning hours of Saturday, perhaps ebbing from about 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. before starting up again and running through midnight Sunday. The balance of Sunday should be rain free.

When the Friday and Saturday rain is over we may see from 1 to 3 inches of total rainfall.

Forecast high temperatures are 65 on Friday, 70 on Saturday and a chilly 55 on Sunday. Sunday night will be the coldest, with a low of 37.
