Beaches at Old Settlers County Park, Paddock Hooker Lake Association and Rock Lake remain under swim caution after retest

Beaches at Old Settlers County Park and Paddock Hooker Lake Association on Paddock Lake and the beach at Rock Lake remain under swim caution after retesting Wednesday by the Kenosha County Division of Health continued to show elevated E.coli levels there.

Cautions are issued for results of more than 235 E.coli/100 mL. Beaches are closed to swimming for a test result of more than 1,000 E.coli/100 mL.

Wednesday’s test result at Old Settlers was 249 E.coli/100 mL.

Wednesday’s test result at PHLA was 488 E.coli/100 mL.

Wednesday’s test result at Rock Lake was 261 E.coli/100 mL.

These beaches will be sampled again Thursday.
