At about 5:55 p.m., Salem Lakes Fire/Rescue units are responding to a report of a possible vehicle fire in the 26900 block of Highway 50 in Salem Lakes.
Per dispatch: Reports received of a small red car in westbound lanes with smoke coming from it.
UPDATE 6 p.m. — Fire personnel on scene reports no visible active fire. Out investigating.
UPDATE 6:01 p.m. — Fire command on scene reports no fire. Says other responding units can remain in quarters.
