The Hoag Park beach on Paddock Lake is under swimming caution after testing on Tuesday showed elevated E.coli levels there.
Cautions are issued for results of more than 235 E.coli/100 mL. Beaches are closed to swimming for a test result of more than 1,000 E.coli/100 mL.
Tuesday’s results at Hoag were 770 E.coli/100 mL.

Salem Lakes — Silver Lake-county park, 31 E.coli/100 mL; Silver Lake-DeWitt Park, 40 E.coli/100 mL; Center Lake, 33 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri-la #1 (East), 37 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri La #2 (South/East) 13 E.coli/100 mL; Rock Lake, 78 E.coli/100 mL; Camp Lake, 20 E.coli/100 mL.

For Powers Lake, sampling on Monday showed a result of 142 E.coli/100mL. That testing is performed by the city of Burlington.
Paddock-Hooker Lakes Association Beach (PHLA) is not closed as in your headline. The count is only at PHLA Beach, 166 E.coli/100 mL. Hoag Park is listed as swim at your own risk.
