Aug. 9, 2017 lake test results: DeWitt Park beach remains closed; Rock Lake and Lake George under swimming caution

The DeWitt Park beach on Silver Lake remains closed to swimming and Rock Lake and Lake George beach at 1032rd Street are under swim cautions after test results from Tuesday showed elevated E.coli levels there.

Cautions are issued for results of more than 235 E.coli/100 mL. Beaches are closed to swimming for a test result of more than 1,000 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday results at DeWitt Park were 2,419 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s results at Rock Lake were 579 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s results at Lake George-103rd Street were 921 E.coli/100 mL.
