Aug. 2, 2017 lake test results: Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach and DeWitt Park beach closed

The Paddock Hooker Lake Association beach on Paddock Lake and DeWitt Park beach on Silver Lake have been closed to swimming after test results from Tuesday showed elevated E.coli levels there.

Beaches are closed to swimming for a test result of more than 1,000 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s result at PHLA beach was 1046 E.coli/100 mL.

Tuesday’s result at DeWitt Park was >2419 E.coli/100 mL.

Those two beaches will be resampled Wednesday.

Salem Lakes — Silver Lake-county park, 14 E.coli/100 mL; Silver Lake-DeWitt Park, >2419 E.coli/100 mL; Center Lake, 76 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri La #1 (East), 228 E.coli/100 mL; Lake Shangri La #2 (South/East) 11 E.coli/100 mL; Rock Lake, 579 E.coli/100 mL; Camp Lake, 27 E.coli/100 mL.

Paddock Lake — Old Settlers, 58 E.coli/100 mL; Northshore Beach Association, 12 E.coli/100 mL; Hoag Beach, 5 E.coli/100 mL; PHLA Beach, 1046 E.coli/100 mL.

Wheatland — Lily Lake, 4 E.coli/100 mL.

Bristol — Lake George (South), 22 E.coli/100 mL; Lake George (101st), 3 E.coli/100 mL.

Twin Lakes — Lance Park, 2 E.coli/100 mL; Musial, 4 E.coli/100 mL; Sunset, 3 E.coli/100 mL; Lucille, 3 E.coli/100 mL.
