Slow no wake lifted for Paddock Lake

The slow no wake order for Paddock Lake has been lifted, village administrator Tim Popanda announced Tuesday morning.

The most recent measurement was 794.51, about two inches below the slow no wake level, Popanda said.

The lake has been under a slow no wake order, during which boat traffic must travel slow enough to not create a wake, since July 13. That followed two days of heavy rain fall that produced similar orders for most Western Kenosha County lakes.
