Riverview and Salem schools to open for bathroom, showers use for flooding victims

Two local schools are their doors for flood victims to use bathrooms and showers:

Riverview Grade School, 300 E Prosser Street, Silver Lake, is offering its facility for those effected by flooding in need of showers, use of bathrooms or just a place to get away. The school will be open and staffed for extended hours, until 8 p.m., Friday and 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday and Sunday (July 15 and 16). Use Entrance #2 (main Office Entrance) located  on Prosser Street.

Salem School, Highways 83 and AH in Salem, will be open next week, Monday through Friday, July 17-21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those effected by flooding in need of showers, use of bathrooms or just a place to get away. People should enter the main entrance (off of Highway AH) and enter the main office where they will be directed from there.
