Flash flood watch issued

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for an area of Wisconsin that includes Kenosha County.

The watch is set to be in effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday to 10 a.m., Wednesday.

Heavy rain of .75 to 1 inch Tuesday night could reach as high as 3 to 4 inches or higher if thunderstorms repeatedly hit the same area, the warning says.

The chance of rain will remain but diminish Wednesday. However, a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms returns to the forecast Friday.
