Cool off starts Friday after night of storms

The mini heat wave we have been experiencing in Western Kenosha County over the last couple of days should be coming to an end, says the National Weather Service latest, local forecast.

After high temps flirting with 90, we should see a high temperature of a mere 79 Friday and 78 on Saturday. Highs the balance of next week look to be in the 80s.

Before we get to the cool off, we may see a night of storms Thursday night, with a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms, most likely between 10 and 11 p.m.
