During the month of July, Salem United Methodist Church in Salem will be revisiting some familiar (and not-so- familiar) stories from the Book of Genesis in a five-part sermon series beginning July 2. Seeking to connect ancient scripture and modern life, the sermons are:
- July 2 – “This is going to hurt me worse than it hurts you…except, of course, you’ll be dead.”
- July 9 – “Miss Manners”
- July 16 – “Birthright for Sale: Cheap, Never Used”
- July 23 – “Houses of the Holy”
- July 30 – “Dude, Where’s My Wife??”
