Tree down in Cross Lake — At about 8:47 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a tree on a power line in the 23600 block of 126th Place in the Cross Lake neighborhood. Entrance to home is blocked. UPDATE 8:57 p.m. — Dispatch reports to units in the field that another report of a tree falling through the roof of a house in the 23500 block of 127th Place. Fire units will investigate.
Sparking transformer in Wheatland — At about 8:50 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units are responding to a report of a sparking transformer at the top of a pole in the 34400 block of 63rd Street in Wheatland. UPDATE 9:01 p.m. — Dispatch reports to fire units that caller says transformer no longer appears to be on fire.
Tree down in Twin Lakes — At about 8:51 p.m., Twin Lakes Police are on the scene with a down tree in near Schoors Lane and E. Lakeshore Drive in Twin Lakes. Roadway is blocked. UPDATE 9:04 p.m. — Officers have marked tree with flares.
Tree down in Wilmot — At about 9:01 p.m., a deputy is responding to a report of a down tree blocking the roadway in the area of Highway CK and Fox River Road in Wilmot.
