Silver Lake Rock & Roll boat parade set for July 4

Silver Lake is going to going to rock the Fourth Of July with a boat parade with a rock and roll theme.

The annual boat parade will take place Tuesday, July 4 starting at 1 p.m., on the on the water of Silver Lake.

Dress up your body, boat, jetski or kayak and join the fun. Boats meet on the lake in front of the Silver Lake Marina. The lead boat will take everyone in front of the judges and around the lake. Once around the lake and prize wwinners will be notified by email or text to pick up their prize at the Silver Lake Marina.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Patriotic Boat, Best Foruth of July Pier, Best Display of a Rock & Roll Fourth.

    You don’t need to live in Silver lake to join the fun. Jetskis with a flag even count. Come join the fun. As of this time we only need 5 more boats to beat last years record.
