Get ready for Twin Lakes annual Libertyfest 2017!

This Free Family Fun will be on Friday June 30th, 5:00 pm until Midnight and Saturday July 1st from Noon until Midnight. As always there will be a food and beverage court offering a variety of goodies, from brats by the Cub Scouts to hot dogs, ice cream, snow cones, cotton candy, funnel cakes, fried snickers and twinkies and more.

New this year is the Euro Bungee Jump for all ages from 20 lbs. to 200 lbs. First you are put into a harness and lifted to a Bongo trampoline, where there is the potential to launch you 25 feet in the air. Like something closer to the ground? Try the Sea Hamsters. Step into an inflated 6’6” diameter ball in a 26’x26’ pool of water and be a human hamster, walking, rolling, and tumbling around on the waters surface. The Hamster Balls will accommodate up to 200 lbs. Inflatables including a large slide will also be at Libertyfest for the younger kids entertainment.

Bingo by the Genoa City Lions Club will be on Friday June 30th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and Saturday July 1st from 2:00pm until 5:00pm in the food tent.

Friday night will be Country night. Be at the entertainment tent by 5:30 and participate in a 45-minute Country Heat Dance Class Workout. This is a country music inspired workout set to chart topping country music. The moves are so easy it’s like walking but way more fun. Once you are warmed up, you are ready to dance the night away to the country music of Tim Castle and Young Southern, a popular local band. They are a Nashville sound, high energy, super country group. Tim Castle and Young Southern take the stage from 8pm until midnight.

Saturday has a full schedule starting with the Annual Libertyfest Parade. The parade steps off at 11:00am and travels from Legion Park, down Main St. to Lance Park. Lance Park opens for Libertyfest at Noon. The Kenosha Academy of Dance, Music & Drama will perform at 2:00pm. Come support these talented young people. The 4th Annual Duck Races will be held on Sat. at 4pm by the Aquanuts site. Get your Duck Race Tickets from the Chamber, Associated Bank, Randall Fire Department or Chamber Board Members. Cash Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Tickets are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. Tickets will also be available at Richter’s Marketplace on June 16th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday June 17th from 9:00am until 2:00pm. The award winning Aquanut Water Ski Show will start at 7:30pm. Saturday is rock night starting with a local band Dirty Canteen at 5pm and the Now Band from Milwaukee at 8pm-midnight with a break during the fireworks. The first Holiday Fireworks show in the area will be at dusk on Saturday, July 1st over Lake Mary.

The bus will make a 30-minute circuit to the following lots: Main St. lot by the Chamber, Lakewood School, Associate Bank/Keller Williams Realty a joint stop picking up at Associated Bank, Ace Hardware/BMO a joint stop picking up at Ace Hardware, Allied Plastics, Hope Lutheran Church and back to Lance Park.
