Note: With the help of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, we will be telling our readers what work took place on the Highway 45 project in the week just past and what is expected to take place in the coming week. Check back every Friday for the latest.
What happened this week (week of May 22) — Binder and surface layers of HMA laid down at the US 45 and County A2/W Intersection. US 45 and County A2/WG Intersection opened at noon on Friday. Sawing for base patches continued on US 45 from County A2/WG to the north. Utilities continued relocations.
What’s expected for next week (week of May 29) — Full closure of US 45 and County C Intersection planned for May 31. Milling will take place on County C and on US 45 heading north of County C. Base patching will continue on US 45 from County A2/WG to County Q and also base patching will begin at County C and heading north. Utilities are projected to be done with relocations by the end of this week.
