2017 Bristol Arbor Day celebration coverage (PHOTOS & VIDEO)

On a chilly windy Saturday, Brownies from Troop 9417 planted about 100 red oaks to help reforest the park adjacent to the Bristol Bay subdivision.

They were assisted by village administrator Randy Kerkman, and Trustees John McCabe, Colleen Fisch and Carolyn Owens.

The project served as the village’s 2017 Arbor Day celebration.

The park is designed to be a passive use, natural area type park with an appearance similar to what it was before it was cleared for development.
