Wheatland town electors unanimously approved authorizing upgrades to the town hall exterior.

The proposal was on the town’s annual meeting agenda Monday evening.

The measure passed by a voice vote with 12 electors present and no one voicing opposition.

Town Chairman Bill Glembocki explained the Town Board has been gathering information on what needs to be done to the building. Among the items being considered are doors, windows, cement and siding.

“It’s more general maintenance than anything,” Glembocki said. “Everything is 30 years plus old.”

A cost of the upgrades was not available as the town is still gathering information on the extent of the work and requesting bids.

The town is considering figuring out a way to make this well head less obtrusive as part of its exterior upgrades project.
